| Farewell to all my faithful xanga readers...
It looks like this will be the end of my xanga forever. Thank you to all of you who have spent countless hours reading the life of the Esther Baekster on this xanga.
But I will end my last post with this...
Happy 23 Birthday to my roommate and best friend:
btw: HAPPY THANKSGIVING

| We started our very first community group for church this week. We met up with our community groups and had dinner together and then we all headed out to the ice rink to have some fellowship, fun, and to get to know people better. Thanks to someone, I won't mention any names here, we ended up being at the wrong side of the rink for like half an hour watching a league hockey team playing against each other. They were about middle school to high school aged kids that were split off into boys against girls. The girls did lose, but they were fantastic. Hockey is a pretty fun sport to watch. I don't know if I'd ever play it though. I'm not good with anything that requires my two feet being off solid ground. Some of the girls in my community group: (Karen, Jane, Me, and Caren)
The Employee of the Month at KHS Ice Rink: ESLO hehe
the soon to be married: Becky and Peter Pan
my two adorable favorite BFF's: Joshy and John
the high school staff
and my greatest accomplishment this past week, beating the expert level of minesweeper. I know it's lame, but you don't understand how hard I have been trying to beat this game with Caren.

| O God, be Thou exalted over my possessions. Nothing of earth's treasures shall seem dear to me if only Thou art glorified in my life. Be thou exalted over my friendships. I am determined that Thou shalt be above all, though I must stand deserted and alone in the midst of the earth. Be Thou exalted above my comforts. Though it mean the loss of bodily comforts and carrying of heavy crosses. I shall keep my vow made this day before Thee. Be Thou exalted over my reputation. Make me ambitious to please Thee even if as a result I must sink into obscurity and my name be forgotten as a dream. Rise, O Lord, into Thy proper place of honor, above my ambitions, above my likes and dislikes, above my family, my health and even my life itself. Let me sink that Thou mayest rise above. -A.W.
